Recycling Europe roadmap calls for action to "future-proof" European WEEE recycling

In a new roadmap paper, industry umbrella organisation Recycling Europe is calling for wide-ranging measures to strengthen the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in the European Union. The association identifies six key measures to overcome the current structural, regulatory and economic challenges in managing WEEE: improving e-waste collection, enabling free and fair trade for e-waste within the EU, enhancing the recyclability of electrical and electronic equipment through eco-design and the Digital Product Passport.
